The Hawaiian Islands Chapter of AACN was founded July 1st, 1986 by critical care nurses for acute and critical care nurses in Hawai'i. The Hawaiian Islands Chapter goal is to support the exceptional acute and critical-care nurses through advocacy, education, service learning, and fellowship in the State of Hawai'i.
