Congratulations on closing out another important year. We hope that 2022 will be more uplifting – in many ways.
We are contacting you today about an important development: AACN has contracted with Nursing Network to support all AACN chapters’ websites. What does this mean for you? Effective January 2022, your chapter will no longer be charged by Nursing Network for the following:
Monthly website fees (for chapters that pay a flat monthly fee on the first of each month)
Member Management Pro fees (for chapters that pay a transactional $3.50 or $5 membership transaction fee, charged on the first of each month)
Event Ticket fees (for chapters that pay a transactional $3.50 or $5 per attendee and/or exhibitor/sponsor/vendor registration fee, charged after the event end date)
There are a couple of items this new AACN coverage does not include:
If a chapter has an outstanding balance for an unpaid invoice that was due prior to Jan. 1, 2022, the chapter is still responsible.
All other fees such as gateway fees (through Affinipay, Stripe, PayPal or any other gateway a chapter may employ to process credit card charges), or any other services not mentioned above such as other online subscriptions, are charges not associated with Nursing Network and their fee structure and will remain the responsibility of the chapters.
Right now, we are working to transition all AACN chapter websites to Nursing Network. During this transition period, you will still need to keep two chapter membership databases – but not for long. Part two of AACN’s relationship with Nursing Network will include the ability for chapters to keep only one chapter membership database because the systems will “talk” to each other. We are thrilled to fulfill this long-requested need of our chapters!
