In alignment with the Nursing Community Coalition, AACN contacted our federal Congressman to support H.R. 6087, the “Improving Access to Workers’ Compensation for Injured Federal Workers Act.” This legislation would retire outdated barriers in the Federal Employees’ Compensation Act and allow nurse practitioners (NPs) to work in alignment with individual states’ scope of practice rules.
