Create meaningful recognition! 

It’s always great to step back and appreciate the people around us.

AONE conference is coming up this fall and as of right now, there are no submissions on behalf of Queen’s nurses for leadership awards.

We have great leaders and nurses here!  Please take the time to nominate nurses (i.e. CNO, VP, Director, APRNs, Managers, Staff Nurses, Nurses of any position…) for any of the following awards:

 

Duane D. Walker
A nurse who has provided leadership in advancing the profession of nursing over a span of years.

Nurse Mentor
A nurse demonstrating outstanding contributions mentoring within the nursing profession.

Emerging Leader
A registered nurse with 5 years or less experience in a formal leadership role demonstrating exemplary leadership skills.

Emerging Nurse
A registered nurse with 5 years or less experience in the nursing profession demonstrating exemplary leadership aptitude in a formal leadership role or through informal or volunteer activities in the workplace.

Nominations deadline:  5 pm, Sept 14, 2017.

Awards will be presented at the 2017 Leadership in Action Conference on November 2 – 3, 2017 in Honolulu.
